We dread the idea on being alone, we are social creatures after all. But here is 10 Powerful Rules To deal with Loneliness…
1. Understand that you are good enough
You need to realize that you are a valuable person that has precious time to utilize. If someone doesn’t hang out with you or talk to you, remember that is ok. As you can improve yourself in the meantime till someone does appreciate your efforts.
It’s very easy to find someone to spend time with, but when you have high standards for the people you allow into your life, you’re telling yourself that you’re better off by yourself than with someone who isn’t a great fit for you.
2. focus on your hobbies
When dealing with loneliness, try to focus on the thing you enjoy doing. That could be playing the guitar, dancing or writing. Additionally, if you have a skill that is productive or good for your life. Then definitely partake in them as this will improve your overall self and give you a sense of accomplishment when you have mastered the skill.
3. Get out of your comfort zone
Leaving your comfort zone is a perfect way to grow yourself and be ok with being lonely. Leaving your comfort zones means taking dancing lessons when you were scared to before, it means meeting new people and starting a conversation with them. All these small things not only makes you grow as a person, but it allows to build your happiness along with it.
Whenever I was nervous on starting something, I just simply took the courage to do it. From that I grew my confidence and happiness. If you are still hesistating to get out of your comfort zone then imagine you will die tomorrow. What will your bucket list be if you will die tomorrow?
Once you have figured it out, simply act upon that list you have.
4. Start Volunteering
Nothing feels better than giving a helping hand to someone. This could be from helping a business with a cashier position or volunteering at church to share the youth your ideologies. Simply go to nearby stores and ask if you can volunteer for their store, not only will you be more competitive in the market when applying for jobs but you will also be able to build connections with co-workers
Though this can be extended from just volunteering, you can also compliment people when you take a walk outside. Not only will this make you happier but you will also improve the other person’s mood.
5. Make plans for the future
Write down a list of all the things you plan to do in the future, that could be buying a house, getting a promotion on your job or visiting Greece. These goals make you feel accomplished when completing them, and gives you motivation to improve your life instead of dealing with the negatives.
6. Write what you feel on a book?
Loneliness can be quite a burden, which is why it’s important to write all of your emotions down in a book. Like how does it make you feel? Why do you feel you are lonely? Find the reasons on what’s causing you having that sensation of loneliness and then solve that problem.
However, also remember, it is ok that you are feeling this. We are human after all, accept that emotion and let it out. Since blocking that emotion will leave you emotionally unstable in the future.
7. talk to a friend
Talking to someone you are close to about your frustations is the best way to go if you can’t deal with lonliness. Why? Well they may very well have a group of rriends for you to hangout with, they can also give you some advice on how to deal with the situation.
For me, whenever I felt distressed, a simple conversation with my friend was more than enough to lift my psirits up.
Now what if you don’t have a close friend to talk to? Well you can then talk to a family memeber, either a cousin, your partens or siblings. If thats not an option then I would recommend you to follow my advice for step 8.

What if you have android phones however? Unfortunately, there is no such application for android. However! You can always download Reddit and connect with communities that are facing issues. For example connect with a community that is about loneliness, you will surely be able to find hundreds of people to talk to about that.
With Meditation, the key is to observe and be aware of your thoughts. Not to act upon them but simply look at them. Meditation allows you to be in peace with yourself and is shown to induce happiness. To meditate simply get in a comfortable position, either by laying down or sitting and focus on each part of your body, after you have done this try to relax that body part to the best of your abilities. Controlled breathing is brilliant for this, simply taking long deep breaths allows for you to relax your body further. When you have followed all of these steps just close your eyes and try to keep an empty mind by observing your thoughts.
10. WATCH motivational videos
Watching motivational videos changes your mindset to fix a problem you may be facing, this could range from loneliness or the lack of motivation to go to the gym. Upon watching these videos, they give you a quick burst of energy. This energy can be utilised for you to feel confident and great about yourself. Additionally, if you surround yourself with these types of videos on a daily basis it will inevitably change your mindset for the better.
However, the same could be said for anything you do watch, so depending on the content you watch be aware of it as it could change you for the better or worse.
